Moonshot turns screen recordings into finished product videos on your Mac.
Moonshot is a native Mac app that turns screen recordings into polished product videos. Drop a recording on the canvas, add zooms, taps, backgrounds and a device frame in a click, and export MP4 at up to 1920×1080 — rendered locally.
Polishing a demo is the slow part of shipping software: the recording is the easy bit, and then it needs framing, staging and motion before anyone will watch it. Moonshot takes that second half. Drop a screen recording on the canvas and it arrives wrapped in the device it was captured on. One-click zooms frame the detail, tap animations mark every press, a position track moves the device around, and everything stays adjustable on a timeline. Rendering happens on Apple silicon with no account and no upload, so a launch video takes about a minute. Moonshot is made by appydan.io, a solo studio in the UK.
Moonshot is designed and built by Dan, a solo developer working as appydan.io in the UK. Interviews and quotes on request.
