Image slotZoom + cursor animation playing
Animations. Zooms, moves and taps, added in a click and timed for you.
Image slotBackground themes and device mockups
Customisation. Backgrounds, device frames, shadows, corners — every default one drag from yours.
Image slotExport sheet — MP4 and transparent MOV
Export. MP4 at 1080p, rendered locally in seconds.
Image slotDragging a screen recording onto the canvas
Drop a recording.
It lands on the canvas already wrapped in the matching device frame.
Image slotZoom animation being applied in one click
One-click zooms.
Pick a spot. The camera moves like a director framed it.
Image slotTap animation placed on the device screen
Tap animations.
Ripple, pulse, ring or cursor, dropped exactly where you clicked.
Everything else it does. Small things, mostly. They are the reason the videos take a minute instead of an afternoon.
Device frames. Twenty-two models across iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, each with the right cutout, corner radius and real colours.
Frames matched for you. Moonshot reads the recording's own dimensions and picks the device — and leaves it frameless rather than guessing wrong.
Backgrounds. Solid, gradient, mesh, an image of your own — or a blurred still lifted from the video itself.
Canvas sizes. 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 4:3 and 16:9, each labelled with where it goes — Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn, YouTube.
Zoom events. Drop one anywhere on the track, then set its scale, focus, and separate in and out timing.
One-click presets. Quick Punch, Dramatic, Soft Reveal and more — a whole zoom, already timed and curved.
Tap animations. Ripple, pulse, ring or cursor. Click the screen to place one; it gets its own timeline track.
Position track. Move the device around the canvas over time. Position says where, zoom says how close, and the two compose.
Trim on the timeline. Drag the clip's edges to cut the recording down before you animate anything.
Export. H.264 MP4 at up to 1920×1080, with every zoom, tap and move baked in.
Transparent export. Turn the background off and you get a MOV with an alpha channel, ready to drop over any UI.
Local rendering. Apple silicon, Metal and AVFoundation do the work. No account, no upload, no queue.
